The goal of this space is to offer practical advice along with observations (and sometimes questions) regarding the received wisdom on labor and identity. Okay, as a practical matter most people have to work for a living. Many of us are having a harder time finding it. Personally, I think on-line job searches are overhyped. At the same time they work for some people and can be an effective tool as part of an overall career-search strategy.
