Retro Radio Review 11/1

Arcade Comedy Theater of Pittsburgh Presents

 Retro Radio Review

An evening of live sketches inspired by radio shows of the 1930s and 40s, set in the ‘Burgh:

  • Arson and Old Lace: When a Strip District “businessman” kidnaps his assistant, a lawyer with a loose sense of ethics must come up with the cash, or it’s curtains for both of them.

  • Living Dead Doll: A newspaper reporter stands on the Mon Wharf at 2 am trying to uncover the mystery of an artist model’s death. The doll she posed with provides the only clue. But first, the reporter has to give the devil his due.

  • The Princess of Polish Hill: A poor Polish princess, a racehorse named “Gallant Godfrey” and a bunch of yinzers hanging around Isaly’s in Oakland. What could possibly go wrong?
